In front of a packed house of 500 at the glamorous Palm Springs Convention Center, Scott Anthony was awarded the title of Mr. Palm Springs Leather 2010 on Saturday, November 14, 2009. Todd Parker, Mr, Barracks Leather, won the First Runner-Up medal. The Mr. Palm Springs Leather Contest is the centerpiece of Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert’s annual Leather Pride Celebration.

Scott bested a field of four in a close competition that also included Chris Bates, Mr. Tool Shed Leather and Larry Galston, Mr. Leather Toucan’s.

Scott, 43, has reddish-brown hair and brown eyes and stands six feet tall. He moved to Palm Springs five years ago from San Diego after ending a twenty-four year career as a retail executive, most recently at Kohl’s Department Stores. He has served as a caregiver ever since. Scott is also Mr. Streetbar Leather 2010, a title he won in that bar’s inaugural contest in October 2009..

Scott won a prize package that included a three year premium membership to Recon.com; a custom leather uniform from Gear Leather and Fetish; custom chaps from Tuff Stuff Leatherware; and up to $2500 from Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert to pay for his travel to the famed International Mr. Leather Contest this Memorial Day Weekend in Chicago, where he will represent the city of Palm Springs.
