| Welcome to Leather Pride 2010!
 Since back in the ‘90s when we hosted our first “Sweating Bullets” Run, Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert has invited Leatherfolk from around the world to gather in our Desert Oasis each November for a hot, sexy weekend celebration of Leather/Fetish fellowship and fun. Today, Palm Springs Leather Pride is one of our city’s most popular LGBT events and one of the largest, longest-running, and most successful Leather/Fetish Events in Southern California.
This year we’re continuing our focus on camaraderie and fun by bringing back one of everyone’s favorite events, Friday night’s Tool Shed/Gear Leather Backlot Party. For one night only, both businesses will transform their rear parking lot into an outdoor beer garden with full liquor service, great music, and a fantastic collection of Southern California’s finest leather and fetish vendors. Join hundreds of hot men for hard cruising, great refreshments and singular shopping.
The Backlot Party precedes another Friday night Leather Pride tradition, our Formal Leather Dinner. This year’s event will be held at Leon’s Bar and Grill, a stunning new location that showcases the unique beauty and history of Palm Springs. Located in the landmark mid-century North Club House of the Indian Canyons Golf Resort, Leon’s stunning architecture and breathtaking mountain views have attracted the patronage of world leaders and Hollywood stars for years. Because of capacity restrictions, dinner tickets are reserved for VIP Weekend Package Holders only. Even though we’re able to accommodate 225 (100 more than last year), we’ve no doubt that this event will sell out! If you’d like to attend, be sure to register today!
In addition to the dinner, your VIP Weekend Package includes admission to all other ticketed events, plus a commemorative T-shirt, collectible dog tags and a run pin. The Dinner and Backlot Party, along with our centerpiece Mr. Palm Springs Leather Contest, plus the Victory Dark Dance, Bar Cruise Parties, Vendor Markets, Turning Up the Heat Pool Party and notorious Tom of Finland Foundation Beer Bust round out a full, yet laid-back schedule that’s sure to entice and entertain!
